JLT Specialty hires Aon exec

JLT Specialty, a US subsidiary of Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT), has appointed Robert Battenfield as senior vice president and leader of downstream energy.

Based in Houston, he will be responsible for leading JLT Specialty USA’s downstream energy and power business.

Prior to joining JLT Specialty, Battenfield served as senior vice president and account executive at Aon Risk Services since 2010, where he was a key leader of the largest book of power and utility business within Aon US.
