Markel appoints senior claims adjuster

Specialist insurer, Markel International, has appointed Esther Tun as a senior claims adjuster.

Tun joins Markel following earlier appointments as a professional lines claims adjuster at Aspen Insurance UK and QBE Insurance (Europe). Previous to these roles she gained legal experience at Reynolds Porter Chamberlain having completed the Legal Practice Course at the London College of Law. Reporting to claims manager, Danielle Chue, Tun will handle claims for Markel International’s professional and financial risks class.

“Esther has the technical ability, market presence and commercial acumen which will strengthen further our professional and financial risks claims team,” said Hannah Purves, head of claims at Markel.

“Coming to Markel International as a highly regarded and experienced practitioner, Esther will be a great addition to the team and to our external offering.
