Markel hires Triton Claims exec

Specialist insurer Markel International has appointed Chay Wilkinson as claims director for its Singapore office.

Wilkinson will be the first point of contact for all claims arising through Markel’s offices in Singapore, Hong Kong and Labuan.

He joins Markel from Triton Claims where he has worked for the past six years, most recently in Singapore as regional director for Asia-Pacific. Wilkinson previously practiced in Sydney in insurance litigation for ten years as a senior in-house counsel and as a solicitor in private practice.
