Marsh appoints Aon exec as US construction head

Broker Marsh has appointed David Marino as head of its US construction practice.

Based in New York, Marino will be responsible for “ensuring Marsh delivers its world-class risk advisory and transactional services to clients across the construction industry”.

Marino will report to Don Bailey, head of global sales and US industries.

He joins from Aon, where he served as regional managing director of the greater New York area.

The US construction practice places nearly $1 billion in premiums annually and serves more than 1,200 clients.

Bailey said: “Marsh is committed to the construction industry and to delivering innovative solutions and advanced analytic capabilities that meet the evolving needs of today’s contractors and owners. I’m thrilled that David is joining the firm and leading this important industry segment.”
