Marsh poaches Aon director
Broker Marsh has appointed Simon Thompson as leader of its chemicals and life sciences practice for UK and Ireland.
Thompson will have overall responsibility for ensuring that Marsh delivers its advisory and insurance services to clients across this segment of the European economy.
He joins Marsh from Aon, where he was international director within the company’s global client unit. He previously led Aon’s life sciences and chemical practice for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. Thompson began his career with Sedgwick, now part of Marsh.
