Miller names upstream energy head for US
Insurance broker Miller has appointed Alastair Dalrymple as head of its upstream energy growth strategy in North America.
Dalrymple is a specialist in North American energy business production, and has previously spend six years at JH Blades in Texas working on behalf of retail broking intermediaries.
He has also previously spent four years at Agnew Higgins Pickering (now JLT).
Dalrymple will be responsible for leading Miller’s North American upstream energy growth strategy, primarily targeting business from retail intermediaries.
He will work closely with Alex Vincent, heady of energy, and Miller’s wider team of energy colleagues in London which handles risks across the upstream, midstream & downstream energy sectors as well as on behalf of organisations specialising in power, utilities, construction and renewables.
“Business from North American intermediaries has been integral to our success to date. I am delighted that we now have Alastair on board, his formidable skill-set and intimate knowledge of the North American market will be a major component and contributor in achieving our future growth plans,” said Vincent.
