Miller strengthens marine team with Aon hires

Broker Miller Insurance has bolstered its marine hull business production, broking and account handling capabilities with the appointments of Heather Clarkson and Rick Kerr, both formerly of Aon.

Clarkson joins Miller from the marine hull team at Aon where she was executive director – head of Broking, with responsibility for business production in North and South America.

She has nearly 30 years of industry experience in marine hull insurance production and broking and has placed cover for operators of several different commercial vessel types including; tankers, offshore oil supply, crew & support vessels, passenger ferries and cruise ships.

Kerr has over 25 years’ experience, originally with Winchester Bowring and most recently with Aon where he was head of Hull Client Management in the marine team.

Kerr is a marine hull and ancillary business production and account handling specialist and works primarily on behalf of North American insureds, particularly offshore supply, tanker and cruise operators.

Clarkson and Kerr will be working with Andrew Miller and the rest of Miller’s marine hull team based in London.
