MSIG underwriting director departs

Martin Hudson, the director of underwriting at Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group (MSIG) at Lloyd’s, has resigned.

Hudson has led the team for the past three years. Previously, he worked as an independent consultant and president of Europe at Travelers.

“Martin has played a pivotal role in helping MSIG to achieve sustainable profitable growth and setting the business on a firm footing for the future. His responsibilities, for the foreseeable future, will be assumed by the underwriting and senior teams,” said MSIG at Lloyd’s. “We are grateful to Martin for his valuable contribution and wish him well for the future.”
