Munich Re hires former Deutsche Bank MD for SVP role

Munich Re US (Life) has appointed Ed Sunoo as senior vice president of financial insurance.

Sunoo will be responsible for building and leading a team in developing reinsurance solutions relating to capital relief, reserve financing and other regulatory and accounting efficiencies for Munich Re’s valued clients in the US life and disability insurance industry.

Sunoo has over 25 years of banking experience covering insurers, having most recently served as managing director for Deutsche Bank.

He has also served as executive director of UBS.
