Navigators appoints new director to board
Specialty insurance holding Navigators Group has appointed Meryl Hartzband to its board as an independent director, effective immediately.
Hartzband will serve on the compensation and finance committees of the board.
She was the chief investment officer of equity firm Stone Point Capital and a member of the Investment Committees of the Trident Funds from 1999-2015.
Prior to Stone Point, she served as managing director at JP Morgan, where she spent 16 years of her career specialising in managing private equity investments.
Hartzband is currently a director of Vanbridge Holdings, and has previously served as director of ACE, Travelers Property Casualty, AXIS Capital and Alterra Capital among other companies of Trident Funds.
