Navigators appoints onshore energy head

US insurer Navigators has appointed Jerry Wosleger as the new global practice leader for onshore energy underwriting.

Wosleger is responsible for the underwriting direction and strategy of the onshore energy business, one of the four product lines comprising Navigators Technical Risk.  He will lead a seasoned team of underwriters in New York, Houston and London.

Wosleger joined Navigators five and a half years ago, after holding various management and underwriting positions at Arch and CIGNA.
