Nexus subsidiary hires Aon exec for underwriter role

Nexus CIFS, a specialist trade credit insurance subsidiary of leading independent specialty managing general agent (MGA) Nexus Underwriting Management Group, has appointed Nicola Slater as commercial underwriter.

Slater will be based in the Midlands, where she will be responsible for the Midlands and South West whole turnover trade credit renewal book, broker relationships as well as supporting business development in the region.

After ten years in accounting, Slater began her insurance career in 1996 as an accounts assistant with CIA/Aon Trade Credit based in Solihull, West Midlands; she became account executive two years later, and then in 2007 she was promoted to client director for Aon Credit International based in Birmingham.
