Lloyd’s insurer Novae Group has made two senior promotions within its casualty division.
Ross Louden has been promoted to deputy divisional head of casualty. He will retain his current position as head of financial institutions.
Louden joined Novae in 2006, and according to the company, has been “instrumental in re-shaping the unit post the financial crisis while ensuring it continues to be one of the largest providers of financial institutions insurance at Lloyd’s”.
In addition, Terry Allen has been promoted to head of professional indemnity. He joined Novae in 2003.
Bob Patten, head of casualty at Novae, said: “The promotions of Ross and Terry are testament to the strength in depth of Novae’s underwriting and are part of a strong leadership team across our casualty division. I look forward to working with them both in their new positions.”
