Law firm Patton Boggs has appointed one of its reinsurance specialists as managing partner of its New York office.
John Nonna, who deals with commercial disputes and litigation, joined the firm in April 2012 from the New York office of Dewey & LeBoeuf, accompanied by three attorneys from his practice group. He currently co-chairs the Patton Boggs Insurance and Reinsurance Dispute Resolution practice group.
“John Nonna is an ideal choice to manage the growth and success of our New York office,” said Edward Newberry, managing partner of Patton Boggs. “In less than a year, he has acquired an understanding of Patton Boggs that complements his strong existing knowledge of the New York market for legal services.”
As managing partner, Nonna will hold primary management oversight of the firm’s New York office, focusing on growth within corporate finance, commercial and securities litigation, insurance and reinsurance dispute resolution, real estate investment and development, and white collar and government investigations.
