QBE appoints negotiated lines head for Australia and New Zealand

QBE Australia and New Zealand has appointed of Alex Green as head of product – negotiated lines.

Green moves in to the role having joined QBE's workers' compensation team in February from Austbrokers underwriting agencies, where he oversaw a number of specialist agencies including Marine, Strata, Film and Mobile Plant.

In the new role, Green will report to chief underwriting officer Declan Moore.

Moore said: "I'm delighted to welcome Alex to this senior role and look forward to working closely with him."

Previously, he has held roles managing workers' compensation, professional risks and liability portfolios at Vero and Suncorp.
