QBE North America hires XL Catlin exec

QBE North America has appointed Erin Fry and Bob Remy as underwriting vice presidents in the company’s specialty programmes unit.

Remy and Fry will both report to Don Allard, senior vice president, specialty programmes.

Fry joins the firm from XL Catlin, where she served as vice president and head of professional liability programmes, whilst Remy joins the unit from QBE North America’s standard lines programmes team.

Fry will be developing new business opportunities for the firm, as well as taking care of a diverse range of programmes as the company expands.

Allard said: “In her career, Fry has demonstrated the ability to work collaboratively with brokers and agents on solutions to meet their clients’ unique needs. Remy’s addition to our speciality programmes team reflects our commitment to deepen our producer partnerships and keep the customer at the centre of what we do.”
