QBE North America poaches Zurich claims exec

QBE North America has appointed Daniel Franzetti as chief claims officer (CCO).

In this role, Franzetti will serve on the Executive Management Board and have responsibility for leadership of the insurer’s claims function. Working from QBE's New York office, he will report to Dave Duclos, chief executive officer, QBE North America.

Franzetti most recently served as CCO for Zurich Australia Insurance.  He also previously led Zurich's claims technical shared services in North America as a senior vice president.  Prior to this role, he was head of global claims vendor management for Zurich's global general insurance practice.
