QuanTemplate poaches Lloyd’s exec for account engineer role

QuanTemplate Technologies, a financial technology company formed by former reinsurance executives, has appointed Lauren Restell as account engineer.

Restell will report to Adrian Rands, co-founder and chief executive officer of QuanTemplate.

She has more than a decade’s experience in the insurance industry and joins QuanTemplate from Lloyd’s of London, where she had worked as exposure management executive since 2012.

In her role at Lloyd’s, Restell was responsible for all aspects of exposure management relating to one third of syndicates operating in the Lloyd’s market. Other previous employers include Travelers Insurance Company, and Aon Benfield.
