RiiG hires Argent head as chief operating officer

RiiG, the provider of claims management and consultancy solutions, has appointed Kevin Foakes to the newly created role of chief operating officer (COO).

His appointment represents a change to the organisational structure of the business, which RiiG says reflects both the company’s recent growth and its desire to provide a robust platform for future development.

Foakes joins RiiG from Argent, where he was head of adjusting and investigations. Before this, he has various role at specialist liability adjuster Garwyn (now part of Davies Group ), as well as Provincial Insurance (now Axa) and Dominion Insurance

Foakes is also an associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and a Chartered Insurance practitioner.

In his new role, he will be responsible for ensuring that the RiiG  structure, systems and processes develop in line with the business’ goals and objectives and that they deliver lasting, significant improvements to clients and their customers.
