RLI promotes chief financial officer
RLI, a specialty insurer serving property/casualty and surety markets, has promoted Thomas Brown to the position of senior vice president, chief financial officer.
Brown will continue to maintain strategic leadership responsibility for RLI’s accounting and financial operations.
Brown began his career at RLI in 2011 as vice president, chief financial officer, where he led the company’s financial strategy, planning and management and maintained appropriate internal controls throughout the company’s operations.
Prior to joining RLI, he was an audit engagement partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where he led teams serving Fortune 500 insurance companies.
"Tom’s decades of accounting, finance and insurance industry experience has been a tremendous asset to RLI,” said Jonathan Michael, RLI chairman and CEO. "I am confident that he will continue to provide sound strategic financial leadership and guidance to our organization."
