Ropner expands with six broker hires

Ropner Insurance Services, a Lloyd’s and London Market broker, has appointed six new brokers as part of its ongoing expansion.

This follows the Global Risk Partners backed management buyout last year.

The international non-marine division has expanded with the appointment of Gary Watson and Stewart Alliston.

Nick Kirby, who came from JLT, has joined the fine art team and Ropner‘s marine hull and liability division has appointed Richard Gayton, who came from Marsh.

The marine trades division has welcomed Andrew Lewis.

Neil Willett has joined the cargo division, having previously worked at UIB.

Ropner is planning further expansion with additional appointments to be announced during the year.
