RSG MGA offers $25m D&O capacity
StartPoint, Ryan Specialty Group’s (RSG) managing general agent (MGA), has secured £25 million of new capacity focused on the US directors and officers (D&O) insurance marketplace.
The capacity is provided by certain syndicates at Lloyd’s (A+ rated by S&P).
Mark Peeters, StartPoint chief executive officer (CEO), said: “In a market that Lloyd’s created over 80 years ago, StartPoint offers significant capacity and solid protection to the US marketplace. We provide a broad suite of products that includes Full, Side A and Blended coverage for predominantly US-domiciled companies.
“With an appetite that spans Fortune 1000 companies to privately-held companies on both a primary and excess basis, we are introducing very valuable Lloyd’s capacity to the US market that arguably has been limited for a number of years.”
