Skuld promotes exec to CCO

Skuld, a marine insurance provider, has appointed Mattias Hedqvist as its chief claims officer.

The appointment is a promotion for Hedqvist, who has been with Skuld since 2002. He was previously vice president, head of claims processes at the firm, and claims manager for Skuld before that.

Ståle Hansen, Skuld president and chief executive officer, said: “I am very pleased to have filled all the positions in the new executive management team and with Mattias’ appointment we look forward to our continued development as a market leading P&I club and marine insurance provider.
