Sompos Canopius expands A&H team with Arch hire

Sompo Canopius has appointed Karen Vizard as international medical expenses underwriter, joining from Arch.

Reporting to Bernie de Haldevang, global head of specialty, Vizard will be working closely within the wider existing accident/health team at Sompo Canopius with a US focus.

Haldevang comments: “Karen brings an extra dimension to our A&H team, enabling us to focus on some niche areas that we haven’t covered in the past. Her expertise, combined with our relationships and profile in the market, will enable us to grow this business with a focus on profitability, rather than volume, over the long term.”
