Starr hires former AIG financial lines specialist

Starr Companies has appointed Brian Inselberg as senior vice president (VP) of financial lines.

Inselberg has over 25 year of experience with other firms, and his expertise includes financial institutions, management liability, professional indemnity, crime, cyber, mergers and acquisitions, and kidnap and ransom in both the US and Europe.

Prior to Starr, he previously served as president of financial lines in the EMEA for AIG.

Inselberg had held a number of positions at AIG, including executive VP and chief operating officer, financial lines; regional president, property and casualty; president, small business/growth enterprises; president, commercial public act division and private co division; and executive vice president, financial lines.

Based in New York, Inselberg will be responsible for the growth and profitability of the portfolio as well as the leadership of Starr’s financial lines underwriting team.
