Stonybrook MD joins Atlantic American
Atlantic American Corporation, a US insurer with speciality units covering life, health, property and casualty insurance, has elected the managing director of Stonybrook Capital to its board.
Joseph Scheerer is the principal and managing director of Stonybrook Capital, a merchant banking firm focused on the insurance industry. Holborn Corporation, one of the largest independent reinsurance brokers in the US is an equity partner with Stonybrook.
Scheerer began his career at Wall Street investment banking firms and moved to specialist advisory boutiques affiliated with large reinsurance brokers.
