Swiss Re names new market underwriting head succeeding Fuchs
Swiss Re has appointed Christian Kreutzer as head market underwriting for Austria, Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). He will be based in Munich.
Kreutzer succeeds Andrea Fuchs in this role, who is set to retire this month after 32 years at the company. Kreutzer will report to Nicola Rautmann, market executive Austria & CEE.
Fuchs has held the position of head market underwriting for Austria, Central and Eastern Europe since 2012. Prior to that, she was an underwriting manager for many European markets as well as for Israel, Japan and Africa.
Kreutzer is currently based in Hong Kong, where he has been leading Swiss Re's Fac P&C Team APAC since August 2015. Prior to that, he held the position of market head Russia & CIS at Swiss Re in Munich.
In his new role, Kreutzer will be responsible to further strengthen Swiss Re's market position in the region together with his team and to foster Swiss Re as a partner for product development and innovation for its insurance clients.
