TMK hires ACE exec to enhance Asia construction offering
Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK) has hired Jean-Francois Rossetto as a construction and engineering underwriter covering Asia.
Based in TMK’s Singapore office, Rossetto will be responsible for underwriting construction and engineering re/insurance in South East Asia as well as in Australia and New Zealand. He will also be responsible for collaborating with other Tokio Marine group companies to leverage TMK’s construction specialism with the strong distribution network that the group has in the region. He will report in to Neil Wray, managing director, TMK Asia.
Rossetto joins TMK from ACE, where he was civil construction product line manager. He has also previously held roles at CCR, AXA RE and Paris Re.
Steven Norcliffe, head of construction, said: “Asia is one of the key markets for TMK as we look to grow our business. We already have a strong construction book in the region through our Hong Kong based underwriters and Jean-Francois will provide extra depth to this, allowing us to look at the South East Asian market in greater detail.
“We also have the added benefit of being part of the Tokio Marine group who have a strong distribution network in the region which we will utilise to bring specialist construction underwriting to the whole continent.”
