Validus appoints SVP to Swiss team

Validus Reinsurance, Switzerland has appointed Florian Lutz as senior vice president and senior underwriter. Lutz has over 20 years of re/insurance experience in both property and specialty lines, most recently with Axis Re in Zurich.

Kean Driscoll, chief executive officer at Validus Re said: “We welcome Florian to the Validus Reinsurance underwriting team. During his career, Florian has operated as both broker and underwriter in various European markets which will prove invaluable to the company as we build out the new platform.”
