Vista Re appoints senior vice president

Vista Reinsurance Intermediaries (Vista Re) has promoted vice president (VP) Ashley Mims to senior vice president.

Mims joined Vista Re in 2014 as a vice president and reinsurance broker. He has over two decades of experience in financial analytics, client relationship management and new business development within the reinsurance industry.

Prior to Vista Re, he was vice president at Towers Watson in Atlanta, after spending 15 years with New York-based brokerage US Re Corporation. He has also worked for Constitution Re as a reinsurance treaty underwriter in the past.

Philip Cawley, president and chief executive officer of Vista Re, said: "Ashley brings great depth in the production, design and marketing of reinsurance mechanisms. He is highly skilled in assisting clients with understanding their exposure to risk and developing mechanisms for actively improving their profitability."
