Willis appoints inspace head

Willis Towers Watson has appointed Mark Quinn as global head of its specialist inspace broking unit.

The unit is dedicated to providing insurance and risk management solutions to the space industry.

Quinn will be based in Washington. He succeeds Roger Bathurst who is leaving the company.

According to the company, Quinn has played a major in growing and maintaining its inspace business since the early 1990s.

John Rooley, head of Willis Towers Watson’s global aerospace business, said: “With seven locations around the world, our inspace team is widely considered a leader in the space insurance sector with a reputation for delivering innovative solutions for all types of satellite coverage and ground based risks.
