Willis poaches two from Marsh in Asia
Broker Willis Group has made two key appointments to grow its business in Asia, with both roles based in Singapore.
Sirikit Oh has been appointed managing director, Asia head of technology, media and telecommunications (TMT). She joins from Marsh, where she was technology practice leader for Asia, and Asia head of market relationship management.
Chia Woon Ping has joined as risk services regional director for North Asia. He joins from Marsh Risk Consulting, where he was the North Asia property practice leader.
Adam Garrard, regional chief executive officer of Willis Asia, said: “These are vital hires who will help connect and grow our business across Asia and globally. Both Sirikit and Woon Ping bring a wealth of experience gained from across the region in their respective specialties.
“Sirikit will lead an industry group to seamlessly connect with leaders around the Willis world to bring industry-leading value creation to local markets. Woon Ping will assume responsibility for the delivery of risk services across North Asia, including risk engineering and risk consultancy services.”
