Willis Towers Watson makes leadership promotions in US

Broker Willis Towers Watson has appointed Scot Housh as regional lead for its corporate risk and broking (CRB) business in the Midwest, and Mark Vila to lead CRB for the greater Chicago market.

Housh will be tasked to direct the strategy and growth of the company's CRB business across the Midwest and parts of Pennsylvania, while continuing to provide innovative solutions for clients' risk.

He has more than 30 years of insurance brokerage and consulting experience. He joined Willis Towers Watson in 1997 and most recently served as the market leader for Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Vila will, in his new role, be responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the CRB business across the Chicago market as well as talent acquisition while also maintaining his risk management responsibilities for clients.

Vila joined Willis Towers Watson nearly 20 years ago as a financial analyst. He has held several positions, most recently having served as chief sales marketing officer for CRB operations in Chicago.

Mike Liss, head of CRB in North America, said: "We're pleased to announce Scot's and Mark's appointments, which will strengthen our corporate risk and broking segment and enhance our leadership team.

"Scot and Mark are seasoned veterans with deep expertise in risk management and insurance brokerage. We're confident that under their direction we will continue to deliver unwavering client focus and solutions across the Midwest market."
