Wilmington Trust hires Wells Fargo ILS specialists

Wilmington Trust has hired two insurance-linked securities (ILS) executives, formerly of Wells Fargo, to lead its insurance collateral solutions business.

Todd Winchel will lead product management and Robert Quinn will manage client development efforts. They will be based in Wilmington Trust’s office in Manhattan.

Winchel comes to Wilmington trust from Wells Fargo, where he was senior vice president in corporate, municipal, and escrow services. Previously, he was vice president of corporate and insurance trust services at the Bank of New York.

Previously, Quinn was senior vice president of business development for corporate, municipal, and escrow services at Wells Fargo. Before that, he was vice president of business development for corporate trust at the Bank of New York.

“Together, Robert and Todd bring a keen awareness of collateral options,” said Jack Beeson, head of Wilmington Trust’s global capital markets division. “Over the past 15 years they have demonstrated their devotion to their clients, and built strong reputations in the industry for both service and attention to detail. Todd and Robert will be instrumental in further strengthening our position in the insurance and reinsurance marketplace.”
