XL Catlin announces German leadership team

XL Catlin has announced a newly appointed insurance leadership team for Germany.

The team will be led by Dieter Goebbels, previously chief production officer at Catlin Europe, and Michael Harth, previously XL’s country manager for Germany. Both have dual roles in the new company.

In addition to his role as country manager, Germany, Goebbels will also assume the role of regional manager for Deutschland, Austria and Switzerland (DACH) and the Netherlands.

Harth will take on the role of Europe head of broker management and deputy country manager for Germany.

XL Catlin’s product leaders for Germany will be Achim Friedrich (aerospace), Thomas Zanner (casualty), Jürgen Thiede (construction/engineering), Roland Brandt (crisis management) and Pablo Trueba (energy), as well as Peter Meili (fine art and specie), Marcel-Patric Braun (financial lines), Jürgen Cremer (marine) and Eric Deason (property).
Senior key account managers have also been appointed for XL Catlin’s sales and distribution and claims management team.
