We polled our readers and carried out independent research to compile the list of winners for the Intelligent Insurer US Awards 2012. Here, we present the results.
Intelligent Insurer polled thousands of readers who either worked directly in the US market or were involved in US business, as well as carrying out its own research, to find out who is leading the US market.
The results have proved interesting, with several companies that have not featured before making the leaders’ board. Chartis swept the entire board for the insurance categories, after having no showing in last year’s results.
In terms of reinsurance, Swiss Re picked up two awards compared with just one last year. Gen Re also made it on to the leaders’ board, with the prize for Best US specialty reinsurer.
