Adsensa appoints Faraday exec as new CEO

Adsensa, a developer of document intelligence solutions, has appointed Laurie Davison as its new chief executive officer (CEO).

Davison recently served as chief operating officer (COO) at Faraday Group, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway.

She will report to Adsensa’s founding directors John Mountford and Martin Anderson who have led the business since its formation in 2003.

“We’re delighted to hire someone of Laurie’s calibre to join our business,” said Mountford. “Laurie’s experience and profile within the global re/insurance sector is obviously a massive boost to our own.  It’s clear she shares our ambition to create a business that helps change the way our customers work, minimising their corporate risk and helping them become more productive.”

Davison added: “Adsensa is a multi-award winning technology provider and has an excellent reputation in global insurance markets, in addition to sectors like derivatives trading and of course legal services.

“I’m excited for this opportunity and looking forward to working with our customers around the world.”
