BMS hires Lockton exec as MD of cyber and tech

Broker BMS Group has appointed James Gordon as managing director of its cyber and technology division.

Gordon will take up his position after serving his current notice period, reporting to Ian Gormley, managing director, BMS Risk Solutions.

Gordon has 13 years’ experience in the re/insurance industry and joins BMS from Lockton Companies, where he served as vice president, global technology and privacy practice (GTTP). Previous employers include Jardine Lloyd Thomson and HSBC Insurance Brokers.

Gormley said: “I’m delighted that James will be joining BMS. Following the hire of Ryan Jones earlier this year, James’ appointment represents the next step in our ambition to provide a market leading cyber offering to clients.
