Capsicum Re expands cyber team
Specialist reinsurance broker Capsicum Re has expanded its cyber team with the appointment of Patrick Bousfield and Jane Palmer as brokers, and Alice O’Dwyer-Smith as account manager.
They are all based in the London office and report to Ian Newman, a partner in Capsicum Re’s London property and specialty division.
Bousfield joined from EC3 Brokers, where he focused on Canadian business development and SME and public entities cyber. He previously spend over 5 years at Beach & Associates working in Toronto, Sydney and London.
Palmer more recently served as a broker at BMS Group’s specialty casualty team, where she worked on North American business including errors and omissions, directors and officer, medical malpractice and general liability.
O’Dwyer-Smith joins Capsicum Re from Willis, where she on the reinsurance broking graduate scheme working within Willis Re’s non-marine team.
Alice joined from Willis where she was on the reinsurance broking graduate scheme working within Willis Re’s non marine team. She worked across a diverse portfolio of specialty clients primarily focusing on terrorism, onshore energy, political risk and trade credit.
