Chubb appoints country presidents for continental Europe

Insurer Chubb has appointed country presidents to lead its operations in continental Europe.

All country presidents will report to Jeff Moghrabi, division president, continental Europe for Chubb.

Nadia Côté, formerly country president for ACE in France, will serve as country president for Chubb in the country and will continue to be based in Paris. Gwenaël Hervé will continue to operate as legal representative for the legacy Chubb business in France and will work with Côté on integration planning and the transition plan over the coming months.

Andreas Wania, former country president for ACE in Germany, will serve as country president for Chubb’s Germanics region and will continue to be based in Frankfurt.

Bijan Daftari has been appointed to the new position of property and casualty manager for Chubb in the Germanics. He will also continue to operate as legal representative for the legacy Chubb business in Germany and will work with Wania on integration planning and the transition plan over the coming months. Daftari will report to Wania and to Steven Reiss, chief operating officer for Chubb in Continental Europe.

Walter Lentsch, who previously served as country president for ACE in Austria, will serve as country president for Chubb in Austria, reporting to Wania.

Veronique Brionne, formerly country president for ACE in Iberia, will serve as country president for Chubb in Iberia, and will continue to be based in Madrid. Carlos Peña will continue to operate as legal representative for the legacy Chubb business in Iberia.

Orazio Rossi, formerly country president for ACE in Italy, will serve as country president for Chubb in Italy and will continue to be based in Milan. Stefano Vincoli will continue to operate as legal representative for the legacy Chubb business in Italy.

Ron Verhulsdonck, who served as country president for ACE in Benelux, will serve as country president for Chubb in Benelux and will continue to be based in Rotterdam. Monique Kooijman will continue to operate as legal representative for the legacy Chubb business in the Netherlands.

Florian Eisele, former country manager for legacy Chubb in Switzerland, has been appointed as country president for Chubb in Switzerland and will continue to be based in Zurich. Florian Mueller will continue to operate as legal representative for the legacy ACE business in Switzerland.

Bror Sandas, who was country president for ACE in the Nordics will serve as country president for Chubb in the Nordics, and will continue to be based in Stockholm. Bjorn Petersen remain legal representative for the legacy Chubb business in Scandinavia.

Przemyslaw Owczarek, formerly country president for ACE in Poland with additional responsibility for Hungary and Czech Republic, will serve as country president for Chubb in Poland, with responsibility for Hungary and Czech Republic. Owczarek will continue to be based in Warsaw.
