LMA appoints directors to operations and finance roles

The LMA has confirmed Rob Myers as its new operations director and Paul Davenport as finance director.

Sheila Cameron, LMA CEO, said: “I am pleased to welcome Rob Myers and Paul Davenport to the LMA. Both bring with them a huge wealth of experience and understanding of the Lloyd’s insurance market.

“Their expertise will add fresh impetus to the LMA’s priorities, including working with our members as they navigate the market’s digitisation journey and understanding how we can become a more future focused marketplace."

Davenport previously held senior positions at The Navigators Group as international CFO and prior to that, finance director at Chubb Insurance Company of Europe and has more than 25 years' experience in the insurance industry.

Myers started his career in the Corporation of Lloyd’s and held a number of senior roles in Xchanging, and latterly CSC and DXC Technology, the most recent being global COO for Xchanging Insurance & Banking Business Process Services and managing director of London Market Insurance Services JV businesses. He has been operating as an independent consultant for the last year.

Davenport takes up his role from the end of March and Myers will be in post from 1 May.
