RSA completes sale of Mexican operations

General insurance company RSA has completed the sale of its operations in Mexico

The firm first announced it was selling its Mexican operations to Suramericana SA, the insurance subsidiary of Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana (Grupo SURA) on 8 September 2015.

The news follows the completion of RSA’s sale of its Brazilian operations on 29 February 2016; in Colombia on 31 March 2016; and in Chile and Argentina on 29 April 2016.

RSA currently expects the completion of its remaining Latin American disposal in Uruguay to occur over the coming months.
