Howden beefs up European cyber leadership
Global broker Howden has bolstered its European cyber leadership team with two new appointments.
Kristoffer Haleen has been appointed as head of cyber, Northern Europe, and Manuel Perez Martín de la Hinojosa as head of cyber, Southern Europe and LatAm.
Haleen joined in 2022 from WTW as deputy CEO of Howden Sweden. Prior to that, he held financial lines underwriting and technical specialist roles at Zurich Insurance Group for four years.
Hinojosa has been with Howden since 2014. Most recently, he served as a director of cyber risk for Howden Iberia.
"The global cyber insurance market is on the cusp of transformational growth with the rising need to build resilience against cyber-attacks. The specialist knowledge and experience both Kristoffer and Manuel add to our cyber leadership team, will support our extensive growth plans in this market," the company said in a statement.
"These internal promotions illustrate our investment in our people, as we recognise talent and provide career growth opportunities to match the skill and aspirations of our employees. Coupled with recent external hires, we’ve enhanced our global presence and capabilities in all major regions," Howden added.
