BVZL, the Germany-based industry association for international secondary markets for life insurance, has appointed Cynthia Poveda, chief executive officer (CEO) at Life Equity, as co-head of the US section.
She succeeds Zohar Elhanani, the CEO of Legacy Benefits.
“In the name of all its members, the BVZL would like to express its renewed thanks to Mr. Elhanani for his fantastic work and support over the past few years – which were difficult years at times – and wish him all the best for the future,” said the association.
Christian Seidl, board member of the BVZL, was re-elected unanimously. Seidl, who is also executive vice president of the asset management firm Life Bond Management, will continue to contribute to the BVZL’s further success in his renewed two-year term of office, together with his colleague on the board, Ingo Wichelhaus.
