Chubb offers A&H at Lloyd’s
Chubb Syndicate 1882 at Lloyd’s has expanded its offering with the addition of an accident and health (A&H) business.
The insurer said the new offering will include a direct and facultative book for Group and Affinity covers including participation in subscription and facility business.
Steve Wadlow has assumed the role of class underwriter for the A&H business. Wadlow joined Chubb in 2013 and has over 35 years of experience in A&H insurance.
Kevin Docherty, Chubb 1882 active underwriter, said: “The addition of accident & health business is consistent with our strategy of broadening our product offering at Lloyd’s. Chubb has a longstanding reputation in accident & health, so it is a logical step to incorporate this line of business into our Syndicate offering.
“Steve Wadlow is a highly skilled underwriter with many years’ experience in the Lloyd’s environment. He is therefore the ideal choice to be our accident & health class underwriter.”
