JLT Re hires former Guy Carpenter MD as head of risk

JLT Re, a provider of reinsurance broking and consultancy, has appointed Micah Woolstenhulme as head of risk and economic advisory.

Based in JLT Re’s Philadelphia office, Woolstenhulme will report to David Flandro, global head of analytics.

Woolstenhulme has nearly 20 year of experience, having most recently served as the managing director (MD) of Guy Carpenter's enterprise risk management advisory.

Prior to this, he served as vice president, product development and strategy at Swiss Re.

He has also held a number of managerial and actuarial roles at Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, Safeco Insurance and Kemper Insurance.
