Kaiser exec joins former boss at AIG
AIG has appointed Michael Brady as the company’s first chief technology officer (CTO).
He will report to Phil Fasano, executive vice president and chief information officer. Brady previously served under Fasano at Kaiser Permanente.
Most recently, Brady served as head of Kaiser’s infrastructure organisation. He has more than 25 years of experience in leading infrastructure teams at Citigroup, General Electric, Merrill Lynch, and Fidelity Investments.
Under Brady’s leadership, the CTO organisation will include the infrastructure, applications development methodology, and architecture functions of the technology organisation.
“As CTO, Mike will take the lead on ensuring that AIG’s technology strategy is fully capable of serving our clients and employees. He will develop AIG’s technical infrastructure vision and lead its development, and will be responsible for identifying appropriate leading edge technologies that will result in tangible benefits to all of AIG’s stakeholders,” said Fasano.
