Lockton appoints new NZ CEO from within
Broker Lockton has appointed from within to unveil a new chief executive of Lockton New Zealand, effective January 1, 2024.
Craig Buckle (pictured) will succeed Peter Lowe, who the company said spearheaded the launch and growth of Lockton Pacific’s expansion into New Zealand. He will retire at the end of this year.
Buckle has served as the head of the corporate risk business division since 2021. With over 30 years of experience in corporate risk insurance management, he has held leadership roles at Marsh, Allianz, and Willis Towers Watson New Zealand.
Lowe has served as CEO since 2021 and, prior to this, held the position of CEO at Willis Towers Watson New Zealand.
