TransRe appoints global head of business development

TransRe has appointed a global head of business development – a newly-created position within the company.

Kyle Rhodes will support TransRe’s business unit leaders and underwriting teams. He will look to build stronger, strategic alliances with targeted customers and brokers through bespoke planning, and the facilitation of more frequent and deeper engagement with senior broker and client executives, the company said.

He will also assist in the delivery of TransRe’s access to third party capital for clients.

Kyle has been with TransRe for 11 years, in a number of leadership roles. Prior to which he spent nine years with Employers Re.
