MGU Victor reveals new underwriting leaders for UK and US specialty business
Global managing general underwriter (MGU) Victor has unveiled two senior appointments - a new president of its US specialty underwriting business and a chief underwriting officer for its UK business.
Simon Parrish (pictured left) joins Victor's UK team as chief underwriting officer to lead the next phase of its strategy. Parrish comes from Allianz, where he spent the entire 15 years of his career, most recently head of underwriting, digital trading.
Tim McDougald (pictured left) has been named president of Victor US specialty underwriting business. He will be responsible for the overall growth, innovation, and talent development for Victor US. He will be based in Boston, Massachusetts, and reports to Charles Williamson, CEO of Victor.
McDougald brings a wealth of leadership and insurance experience spanning 34 years at Marsh where he served in a variety of leadership roles in both New York and Boston. Prior to his current role as Marsh’s New England operations leader where he served for eight years, he led Marsh’s New York Metro risk management team.
